The top fashion trends for Spring 2014: Fringe

By Capri Magda

Fringe is one of the top fashion trends for spring this year and fashion designers such as Calvin Klein, Marc Jacobs, and many more is following this fabulous trend. If you do not know what fringe is in the fashion world it threads that are left loose or formed into tassels or twists that are used to edge clothing or material. I had fall in love with this trend because I love how loose it its and the unique style. I think this trend is so cool and outside of the box. There are fringe dresses, handbags, t-shirts and many more. If you are interested in this trend you can make your own fringe wear without spending money. If you have a lot of old t-shirts laying around you can turn them in to fringe bags and shirts. I had made a super easy fringe bag without sewing out of an old over size baseball jersey and here is the link if you want to make one your self.
At first I was kind of afraid to try this fashion trend out because I thought it was out of style and I heard that young people in the 90’s use to wear this trend and I did not want to dress out of style. Runway shows for spring wear for this year had change my mind because I love how the fashion designers create a fierce outfit with fringe. You can wear fringe for casual wear and dress up, fancy wear. Soon I will be creating a fringe net shirt out of my old pink faded Beavis and Butthead t-shirt. If you want to make your own fringe net shirt here is the diy for it.
